Seasonal and H1N1 Flu Clinic Update IMPORTANT NOTICE
During the month of February, we are longer offering Seasonal flu vaccines at our public clinics, but we will continue to host H1N1 clinics every Wednesday at our Saco office, 15 Industrial Park Rd, from 2-6pm. Additional clinics will take place at Becky's Diner on the Portland Waterfront on Wednesday, February 3rd from 9am- noon; and at the Pineland YMCA in New Gloucester on Thursday, February 4th from 2-4pm. Clinics are open to people ages 6months and older. We will offer both traditional injection and mist vaccine. There is no cash charge for the vaccine but please bring your insurance card with you. We will bill Anthem, Aetna, and Medicare part B. No one is refused vaccine for inability to pay for care. For clinic updates: please call 1-800-747-4358 (4FLU).
Important Notice to Parents Please be advised: 1. Parents and/or adult must be present with the child for the vaccination. 2. HomeHealth Visiting Nurses will offer traditional Seasonal and H1N1 injection as well as mist. 5. Parents with insurance coverage are required to bring insurance card to the clinic. 6. No child will be denied vaccinations for lack of insurance coverage. 7. For those parents with children under 10 years of age, please know that CDC recommends a second dose of H1N1 vaccine regardless if it was mist or traditional injection.
