Patti White joined the Department of Medical Education in 2011.
She is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Patti began her career as a Recreation Therapist at Pineland Center. Patti joined the MaineHealth family in 1998, and was the Practice Manager at Scarborough Family Medicine for 8 years. The practice was a leader in the community for using evidence-based practice in delivering care to patients with chronic illness. She spent 4 years as the Training Coordinator for the PIER, disseminating the PIER Model and the Multifamily Group Model for youth at risk of developing psychosis.
Patti lives in Portland with her husband and their youngest son. Their oldest son and his wife live nearby.
They enjoy family time together, love to travel, play games, hit the beach in the summer, the boys are all huge sports nuts and they love rituals and traditions!
