The MaineHealth Center for Quality & Safety (CQS) provides system-wide direction in the identification, prioritization, implementation, measurement and communication of quality and safety initiatives. CQS serves MaineHealth system members and clinical integration programs, with a focus on the following areas:
Data management, analysis and reporting to support quality and patient safety improvement initiatives
Education and consultation on improvement science and methodologies which support quality improvement throughout the system
Program evaluation to assist with design and implementation of methods to assess effectiveness and value of various MaineHealth programs
Accreditation and regulatory support regarding quality and patient safety activities
