Peggy R. Cyr, M.D.
Dr. Cyr earned her BA from the University of Maine at Orono and her M.D. from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed her residency training at Maine Medical Center/Mercy Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Cyr coordinates the University of Vermont third year medical student clerkships for Family Medicine in Portland. As a faculty member, she precepts at the Family Medicine Center and attends on the Family Medicine inpatient service. She has developed and implemented an innovative dermatology curriculum.
Her areas of interest in family medicine include dermatology, faculty development, procedural training, and third world medicine. Interests outside of medicine include spending time with her sons, physical fitness, reading, and hiking.
