Program Director
Dr. Ann Lemire is an Internist-Pediatrician
who has been involved in the Combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics
Residency Program since its inception at MMC.
She is the Adolescent Medicine coordinator for the
Department of Medicine and is also the medical director
for the Division of Public Health in the City of Portland.
Since 1994, her work has involved caring for adults
and children who are homeless or underserved, as well
as caring for HIV patients. Prior to this work, she
had an Internal Medicine-Pediatrics practice
in Windham, Maine.
Dr. Lemire received her M.D. degree at the University
of Vermont and completed her residency training in
Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at the Albany Medical
Center Hospital in
Albany, NY.
Dr. Lemire is a fellow in the American Academy of
Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians.

Associate Program Director
Dr. Patrice Thibodeau is an Internist-Pediatrician
currently serving as a Pediatric Hospitalist for the
Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at Maine Medical
Center. She has a special interest in Medical Education
and can often be found teaching residents and medical
students in the clinics and on the Medicine
and Pediatric floors. Prior to moving to Maine, Dr.
Thibodeau practiced Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at
Genesee Medical Associates in Rochester, New York.
Dr. Thibodeau received her M.D. degree at University
of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine, and completed
her training in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at University

Dr. Thibodeau is an American Academy of Pediatrics Fellow
and a Member of the American College of Physicians-American
Society of Internal Medicine.
Program Coordinator
Monica Zografos has been the Medicine-Pediatrics
coordinator since May 2001. Prior to coming to MMC,
she spent her time in client relations for an occupational
health center. She devotes 20 hours per week at MMC
and spends the rest of her time caring for her young

Pediatrics Residency Program Faculty
Dr.
Eugene Paluso has practiced Internal Medicine-Pediatrics
in the Windham area since 1993. He currently serves
as a faculty advisor and faculty preceptor for the Internal
Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program and is a
Clinical Associate at the University of Vermont College
of Medicine, serving as a preceptor for medical students
rotating in community medicine.
Dr. Paluso received his M.D. degree at Tufts School of
Medicine and completed his training in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics
at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.
He is a Member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr.
Carol Hubbard is a developmental specialist in the
Maine Pediatric Specialty Group in the Division of Developmental-Behavioral
Pediatrics. She has been at MMC since 2000. She plays
an integral role in the developmental/behavioral rotations.
Dr. Hubbard received her M.D. degree at the University
of North Carolina and completed her residency training
in The Harvard Combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
Program. She completed her Fellowship in Developmental
and Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston University. She
is a Fellow in Pediatrics and Member of the Society
for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
