The Rehab Medicine interdisciplinary team works with patients of all ages to restore and improve each patient's optimal level of function and independence through patient and family-centered care. Services are initiated with a physician referral.

PHYSICAL THERAPY, (PT): Addresses problems associated with reduced mobility secondary to musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiovascular and pulmonary dysfunction, and developmental delays. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, (OT): Addresses physical, emotional, cognitive, developmental, and perceptual levels of functioning as well as problems associated with reduced ability to perform activities of daily living. OT also addresses the need for adaptive equipment, safety assessments, splinting/orthotics, developmental programs and upper extremity strengthening and coordination activities. SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST, (SLP): Addresses problems associated with reduced communication and swallowing due to neurological dysfunction, mechanical dysfunction and developmental delays. View information for our speech language pathologist staff.
