Maine Medical Center celebrated the opening of the East Tower on September 6. This patient-and-family-centered building is the new home of Maine Medical Center's women and infants' services and future home of an expanded Emergency Department. The celebration included opening remarks by Richard Petersen, Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Maine Medical Center, as well as Governor John Baldacci and Meg Baxter, Chair of the MMC Board of Trustees.
