It’s How We Do It
We have a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care. Specialists work as a team to plan and coordinate the patient’s treatment, to involve the patient and family in the treatment planning and care, and to improve the patient’s quality of life. Clinical Patient Navigators, who are specially trained oncology-certified nurses, work to ensure patients and their loved ones have access to all the information they need to make the most informed and timely decisions about their treatment. They partner with patients to help them coordinate care and guide them to support resources such as nutritional counseling, support groups, home health and palliative care.
