• Radioactive iodine treatment
• Infusion services
• Bone density scans (DXA)
• Continuous glucose monitoring
• Insulin pump training

Our Diabetes Education Program, which is recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA), offers services which include; diabetes education and nutrition counseling, both in an individual and group setting, weight loss classes, pump training, and pre-diabetes classes. These education services are offered by our Certified Diabetes Educators.

Recently we have also developed a comprehensive Diabetes in Pregnancy Program in conjunction with the providers at Women's Health divison of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Our endocrinologists and nurse practitioners are committed to working closely with primary care physicians to ensure that you are well taken care of. This is why our services are offered on a referral only basis. We have structured our referral process to foster consistent and clear communication between our team and your primary care physician about your endocrine related care. If you would like to be seen by one of the providers here, please contact your primary care physician to start the referral process.

In addition to daily patient care our endocrinologists are all faculty of the University of Vermont and teach medical students as well as residents at Maine Medical Center. Patients referred for evaluation are seen by one of the endocrinologists and may also be seen by one of the physicians in training. If this arrangement is not acceptable, please notify the office before your appointment.
