Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I apply?

A: All applications are through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Q: What type of visa do we sponsor?

A: We sponsor J1 visas only.

Q: What is the deadline for receiving applications?

A: October 1st

Q: Is the interview for the internship year combined with the radiology interview or is it a separate process?

A: You will have one interview day scheduled in the radiology department. If you match with us you then do your first year in the medicine department and the next four years in the radiology department.

Q: Is there a limitation on the number of years after medical school graduation?

A: The majority of our applicants have completed medical school within the last five years.

Q: I applied to your program but I have not heard from your program?

A: Our selection committee does not offer interviews until after the Dean's Letters are released on October 1st. Once all the requested materials have been evaluated then the letters of invite are sent out by email, through Interview Broker. All interviews are held in November and December. We do not send out notices of rejection. If you have a question about the status of your application relative to an interview invitation, email Cristi Holmes.
