Stephens Memorial Specialty Clinic
Adds Oncology Services

Churchill, President and CEO of Western Maine Multi
Medical Specialists is pleased to announce the addition
of an Oncology services at the Stephens Memorial
Specialty Clinic at 199 Main St. in Norway. The clinic
will be open for patients June 13th.
The addition
of oncology services to the Stephens Memorial Specialty
Clinic reinforces the commitment of Stephens Memorial
Hospital's philosophy of putting the patient first and
providing local access to specialty services.
Dr. Robert Neilson, Chief of Surgery at Stephens
Memorial Hospital offered, "We are pleased to partner
with Maine Center for Cancer Medicine and Blood
Disorders and add Dr. Benton to the list of highly
qualified physicians we have here at Stephens Memorial
Hospital. He will be an excellent addition to the
hospital and the community."
Services will be
provided to the patients of Western Maine thanks to a
partnership with Maine Medical Center and the Maine
Center for Cancer Medicine and Blood Disorders.
Churchill said of the partnership, "This is part
of our ongoing efforts to provide the best in specialty
services to our local community. We are glad to
have partnered with Maine Medical Center to provide this
service."
Dr. David C. Benton of Brunswick, who
joined the Maine Center for Cancer Medicine and Blood
Disorders in 2007, will be the primary physician at the
clinic. Dr. Benton attended medical school at the
University of Connecticut and completed residency and
fellowship programs at Brown University Medical Center
in Providence, RI. He is Board Certified in
internal medicine, hematology and oncology.
Oncology
appointments will be available the second and last
Friday of every month from 9 am - 4:30 pm at 199 Main
Street, Norway. To schedule an appointment with
